Anime Talk has a look at the new Patlabor Movie release this week, a rerelease that has improved sound and picture and is definitely worth the double dip. Another interesting title this week is Saikano, series that asks the question "what would you do if your girlfriend turned out to be an ultimate weapon of mass destruction?" With all the press about the new Naruto anime series on TV and on DVD, writer Todd Douglass looks at the manga series. Not only is it where the character started, but its the best selling manga in Viz' line. Not only that, but we also have Holly's Anime Bargains and our table of anime discs that are scheduled to be released in the next couple or weeks.

Other: you have a genius IQ, at the top of the class with light-- who is your biggest rival--, are athletic,a major computer nerd, an inventor, an artist, and yeah. um, your mom was part cat also, and while in heat she was raped by your "father." she was murdered by you dad at age 4. There was no evidence to show he was guilty, so he was free of all charges, and you had to live with him, so you moved to england and lived with him. you ran away from home at age 5, some "stuff" happened, and you had to move back to japan and lived with your dad again at age 9. and your dads drunk all the time.
at school, you hide your ears, tail, and claws, by:
1) wearing a green beanie over your head [which only YOU can take off]
2) by wrapping your tail around your leg
3) wearing black gloves on your hands.
only two people have seen your ears and tail.
you smile, but have never laughed.
you have an obbsession with pandas, sweet stuff, milk, strawberries, cake, cookies and cream ice cream, and the only "healthy stuff you'll eat are cheese quesadillas, and hamburgers.

STORY START~~~~~~~~~~
You crept quietly down the stairs, hoping to sneakpast you fathers room without waking him up.
"God, I hope he doesn't hear me!" you thought. You tip toed down the stairs, until *CREEEAAAK*!
"Oh shitake mushrooms!" you thought. you waited a sec, until you were sure your dad didn't hear you. you used your cat-like reflexes and jumpedthe stairs, landing on all fours. you stood up, and went out the door. As you were walking, you heard someone call your name.
" Sora-chan!" you turned around to see your best friend, Mizuki.

you made a small smile.
"Hey Mizuki-chan."
"So,what's new? i heard you were tied with light-kun again," she siad.
you sighed.
"Yeah, we both got perfect scores...agian."
" Hey, why the long face?" she asked.
"One of these days I'm gonna beat him at something.we're always tiedat everything. It's like nothing's ever gonna change!" you complained. mizuki laughed.
"Don't worry, one day he's gonna slip up, and then your gonna be on top!" you smiled.
" I don't think that's gonna happen soon," you heard. You saw Light Yagami leaning against the entrance of the school.
"What did you say Yagami?" you asked walking up to him.
"You heard me Fuyu," he remarked.
"You trying to start something light-bulb?"
"Bring it on, shorty," he smirked, looking down at you(he's roughly eight inches taller than you). You growled.
"come on Sora-chan. we're gonna be late," Miyuki said, rolling her eyes. You sighed.
"Fine. you got lucky this time yagami," you said, walking away. He grabbed your wrist spinning you towards him, and pulled you close. You looked up at him shocked.
"Lucky?" he said softly in your ear, "Well then, i guess i should consider everyday a lucky one then." He let go and walked away.
"Later, shorty," he said, leaving you stupified. You just stood there, mouth hanging, as Miyuki giggled.
"Ooooo, somebody likes you," she taunted. you snapped out of it.
"N-no he doesn't," you said, your face heating up.
"oh come ooon, he was totally flirting with you," she said smiling. You were still in shock of what he did to you. You sat in your seat which is the row in front of light by tmhe window.. you sat in your usual position on your hands and feet (hey, you can't help it!). your teacher came in, and started a lecture.
"Well," you thought, "that's my cue!" you dozed off.

you woke up just as the bell rang.
"remember class, page 475 as homework, and we have quiz tomorrow!" you gathered your stuff.
"Ugh, that lecture was soooo boring. why do we have to learn about the 'revolution of constanopolis?'" (me: haha! i made that up. i don't even know if 'constanopolis' is even a word! lol!) you met Miyuki at the door.
"So, how was the nap?" she smirked.
"wonderful, thanks for asking," you said back.
